TI Motors for professional Volvo service is one of the few Houston Area independent repair facilities to have acquired the VIDA system from Volvo of North America. VIDA stands for “(Volvo) Vehicle Information Diagnostics for after sales” and due to its high cost, this system has previously only been available to Houston Volvo dealerships.
In order to continue meeting our customer expectations, VIDA is required to fully diagnose and properly repair and service. Also, Cars 1999 and later models diagnose with this system. As well as, this tool allows us to download software updates, reprogram keys, locks and other vehicle specific parts in addition to running diagnostics on all systems of your car. Also, we are also able to use this tool to research Volvo recalls technical service bulletins and other critical information relevant to you and your Volvo.
The purchase of this diagnostic tool in 2001, as well as other specialty tools, and continued training through Bosch, WTI, and ASE reflects our commitment to offer the best technical service available in the Greater Houston area, and all surrounding towns and counties.

My wife's GLE had the Check Engine light on. The car was just out of warranty window and I was dreading high service... cost at the dealership. I decided to give Texas International Motors a try. Boy, that was the best decision for a long time. They took the car to the back once I arrived and took it back to the front after 40 minutes. I was told the light was related to a small leak from the fuel tank because the cap may not be tightened properly. The cost of the work was ZERO! Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. 40 minutes of work on Saturday and they didn't charge me a penny, which said a lot about their service and mission. I will definitely work with them in the future and am very glad I can avoid the dealership.read more

Ever since I took my CLS 550 to Texas International Motors (TIM), I have become TIM's regular, loyal customer. I don't... even bother to go to the dealership because of the difference in both quality of service and cost of repairs.Yesterday, I took my CLS 550 to TIM because one of its tires had a nail in it and kept losing pressure. I been coming to TIM for about 2 years now, they have fixed anything from something as small as an oil change or light... bulb replacement to a job that requires multiple hours of work. I have always been satisfied with their work. TIM is also fair with their pricing specially when compared to other foreign shops around and/or the dealership. Maziar and Jose was dishonested with me about my quote .. From 3200.. 3500.. to 5900 .. & Charge me 250.00 without... consulting with me first.. I was told by Jose 1-2 hrs for diagnostic was free .. and that I would be contacted if it took longer & be quoted a fee ... That never happened... Bottom line.. I got scammed out of 250.00 & then was told to pickup my car... That Maziar didn’t want to do business with me! That’s real customer service right.... If you’re a lady ... Meant to write this review way earlier, like 6 months ago! Have been coming here for the majority of the maintenance on... my 2012 Mercedes and have always gotten a much better price than the dealership! Owner has been up front and friendly every time. Usually I'll drop my car off in the morning before work, catch a ride downtown to the office with the shop's driver, then get a ride after work to pick up the car. Have also had a water pump replaced here via aftermarket warranty and that went smoothly.Will be returning in a few weeks for another oil change!read more
